Moving To New HQ
In February 2024, Vehicle Crash Repairs made the ambitious move to our new 34,000 sqft repair shop in Tongwell, Milton Keynes. After years of growth, we invested in an impressive new base to continue levelling up our business operations. This move wouldn’t have been possible without the loyal support of our customers. It has allowed us to continue delivering the highest standard of vehicle repairs.
The new HQ is equipped with a range of industry-leading eco-friendly equipment, helping us become the first carbon-neutral repair centre in Milton Keynes. This includes our brand-new electric spray booths and the top-of-the-range Hunter 4-wheel alignment system. Learn more about our new base here.
Achieving Carbon Net Neutral Status
In the summer, Vehicle Crash Repairs was recognised for its carbon neutrality and secured the PAS 2060 carbon net neutral certification. This is the internationally recognised standard- developed by BSI and the Carbon Trust – and represents the highest benchmark in responsible carbon management. We’re proud that some of the industry’s leading bodies have recognised our commitment to a greener future. Find out more about our green initiatives here.
Achieving The British Standard BS10125
In September 2024, Vehicle Crash Repairs was accredited with the British Standard BS10125. This guarantees the highest quality repair standards are completed by fully trained technicians using the correct repair techniques to meet industry standards. Following a rigorous audit by CARSQA, we scored 100% and passed with flying colours. We’ll continue to have regular audits at our repair centre to ensure our quality remains at the highest possible standard. Learn more about our British Standard BS10125 accreditation here.
Nominated For A Greener Bodyshop Award
Towards the end of the year, we were nominated for an award at the Greener Bodyshop Awards 2024. Members of the VCR team attended the awards evening in Coventry, where we picked a bronze-level Greener Bodyshop Award. This award is another recognition of our hard work to make our business as sustainable as possible. We’re proud to be among those leading the vehicle repairs industry towards a greener future.
