VCR – Vehicle Crash Repairs, located in Tongwell, Milton Keynes, has been recognised for its carbon neutrality and has secured the PAS 2060 carbon net neutral certification.
PAS 2060 is the internationally recognised standard – developed by BSI and the Carbon Trust – and represents the highest benchmark in responsible carbon management.
The certification makes the Milton Keynes vehicle repair centre the largest green site in the area. PAS 2060 demonstrates VCR’s commitment to improving its environmental credentials and makes a bold step to position itself among the most progressive vehicle repairers in the industry.
To achieve its PAS 2060 status, VCR adopted a series of sustainable projects and has taken significant steps to reduce its carbon footprint as part of its journey to carbon neutrality. VCR invested heavily in its new 30,000 sq. ft. site, implemented energy-efficient practices and minimised its waste. Its investment included a full fit-out of its new premises with new state-of-the-art green technology and machines.
Founder and Managing Director Rob Clark comments, “As the owner of the business, I couldn’t be prouder of my team’s hard work and dedication to enable us to achieve our PAS 20560 certification. We are now the largest PAS 2060 accident repair centre in the county and one of the largest in the country.”
